The 14th World
Kendo Championships will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2009. Check back
to this site for more information.
Congratulations
to the men’s team from the USA for taking second place in the 13th
Worle Kendo Championships. There performance wes outstanding.But, where
do we go from here?
The All
United States Kendo Federation (AUSKF) needs a program to teach kendo
to a wider audience of Americans rather than focusing on one small segment
of the nation. This need must be a priority for the Board of Directors
of AUSKF for kendo to grow like an olympic event where people fo differenc
culture and races that make up America can participate. It is the diversity
of talents of the American people that make the United States of America
a great country.
We
make the results of the 13th World Kendo Championship available and will
publish the results of the 14th World Kendo Championships at Sao Paulo,
Brazil in 2009 after they take place.
